「エクス・ニヒロー・ニヒル・フィト」と読みます。
Ex は「＜奪格＞から」を意味する前置詞です。
nihilō は「無」を意味する第2変化中性名詞nihilum,-ī n. の単数・奪格です。
fit は「生じる」を意味する不規則動詞 fīō,fierī の直説法・能動態・現在、3人称単数です。
直訳は「無から無が生じる」となります。「無から生じるものは何もない」という意味です。
ローマの教訓詩人ルクレーティウスの考え（1.156 nil posse creari / de nihilo いかなるものも無から生じることはあり得ない）を端的に表していますが、表題はこの詩人の言葉ではありません。
